We have a range of venues available for hire. As a not-for-profit community organisation, we are committed to keeping hire costs as low as possible to ensure these spaces remain accessible to members of the community and community groups.
The cost of hiring one of our venues ranges from $21.00/hour for unfunded activities and $42.00/hour for funded organisations with a refundable key deposit of $100.00. Please see our Venue Hire Terms and Conditions [Link to pdf document – to be provided later] for more information.
– Heritage Hut
The Heritage Hut is located next to the Acacia Ridge & Districts Community Centre and can be accessed from Mortimer Road. This air-conditioned space has capacity for 80 people and contains tables, chairs, a self-contained kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave and stove with oven, as well as women’s and men’s bathrooms and ramp access.
– Activity Room
The Activity Room is located at the back of the Acacia Ridge & Districts Community Centre. This air-conditioned space has capacity for 40 people and provides two wheelchair accessible bathrooms and a self-contained kitchenette. The room is equipped with tables and chairs.
– Training Room
The Training Room is located in the Acacia Ridge & Districts Community Centre and is suitable for small groups. The room has seating for 15 people and there are 5 PC workstations available for use.
– The Social Space
A community hall is available for hire at The Social Space in Moorooka. The hall seats approximately 100 people, with some tables and chairs available. The hall contains women’s and men’s bathrooms, a kitchen, and some AV equipment. The Social Space will be have full disability access from April 2018 – Book now!
